Our vision for 1201 Fort Street sees the revitalization of a currently under-utilized 1.9-acre property into a master-planned residential community comprised of two condominium buildings as well as nine townhouses fronting onto Pentrelew Place.
Designed to maintain more than one acre of open site greenspace, the condominium buildings will stand at 4 and 6 stories in height and will be comprised of 77 homes. Architecture for these two buildings embody a contemporary take on traditional design, using brick cladding as a primary exterior material; the design for the nine townhomes is inspired by the classical architecture of the Rockland Neighbourhood.
Abstract has engaged local firms Cascadia Architects, Zebra Design, and Murdoch de Greeff Landscape Architects to develop a plan that responds to the neighbourhood context and the City of Victoria’s Official Community Plan.
