630 Gorge Road West is envisioned as a collection of traditionally-designed three bedroom townhomes, with a mix of single and two car garages. 

Three-storeys in height, townhomes are designed in a traditional manner that include a combination of pitched roofs and gable forms, shed and flat roofs. Front entrances with walkways, gates and front patios along Gorge Road are designed to provide a vibrant streetscape and homeowner experience activating the pedestrian realm, and complementing the existing character of the neighbourhood.

This proposal features a variety of sustainable design elements; the landscape design includes stormwater re-capture onsite and the introduction of native plantings including coniferous trees, and deciduous shrubs, totalling 28 new trees. The project will comply with the BC Energy Step Code 3 performance-based energy efficiency targets.

Abstract Developments has engaged reputable local firms Stellar Architecture, Zebra Group and Biophilia Collective Landscape Architects to develop a plan that is responsive to the neighbourhood, the natural landscape and the region’s need for new three-bedroom townhomes.
