On August 28, 2024, we met with the community to provide an update on our proposal for the development of 3216 Shelbourne Street. We invite you to view this update by clicking on the video below. Questions & concerns
- What proportion of units is anticipated to be 2 bedrooms?
- How big will these units be? Will the bedrooms suit double / queen size beds?
- Does Abstract Developments have any future plans for development West of the subject site?
- Concerns on traffic and addition of cars surrounding the development and on McRae
- Believes there is lack of concern towards the environment
- Shading and privacy concerns
- Suggestions: 3 or 4 storeys and parkade entrance off Shelbourne St
- What are the plans for traffic through the neighbouring streets?
- Are the parkade walls set back from the property lines?
- Would like to see an alternative to concrete planters and distinctive architecture
- Is there extra storage, will there be bike storage/parking and EV chargers?
- Desire to see common space in Abstract projects
- Have we / will we be conducting a shadow study and will neighbours have access to this study?
- Will the future project be utilizing Browning Street for construction traffic flow?
