As Director of Construction Operations, Michelle leads all construction and and site operations for Abstract Construction.
With a background in structural engineering from the University of Western Ontario, Michelle began her career in the construction industry with a focus on transportation infrastructure.
After relocating to Calgary to pursue long-term goals, Michelle worked as a Project Manager for a commercial and civil general contractor before transitioning into residential development. For the past eight years, she has held an operations role in the residential sector, bringing a mix of technical expertise and leadership to project execution and organizational growth. In 2020, a work opportunity brought Michelle to Vancouver Island, where she is now very grateful to now call home.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoy spending time with her husband, their two-year-old son, and their malamute, making the most of camping and the outdoors whenever possible.
