Nicholas Standeven

As Vice President of Development, Nicholas leads all aspects of project development from post-acquisition to approval and coordinates consultant teams of professionals including design experts, engineers, landscape artists and architects. Nicholas manages a team of dedicated development managers and development coordinators and helps oversee internal approval processes. 

Nicholas studied at the University of Calgary where, after stints studying abroad in Chicago and Barcelona, he earned his Architecture degree. Following his studies Nicholas worked as an Architect on a diverse range of housing, commercial, education and transportation projects including the Fort McMurray International Airport which won a Governor Generals’ Medal in Architecture in 2018. Following this experience in private practice Nicholas moved to Mosaic Homes and served as a Development Manager for several years before joining Abstract Developments. 

Nicholas’s expertise in creating beautiful designs that are integrated into the community and are cost effective and energy-efficient has made him a valued member of the Abstract group of companies.
